2021-2022 5th Grade Students at King George Elementary, Potomac Elementary and Sealston Elementary can sign up for Beginner Band through August 2021.
All students that sign up for Beginner Band at any of the 3 elementary school should attend one of the following Instrument Pairing Events.
Monday, August 16, 2021 6:00 pm at King George Middle School Auditorium
OR
Wednesday, August 18, 2021 6:00 pm at King George Middle School Auditorium

In King George students can start on : FLUTE, CLARINET, ALTO SAXOPHONE, TRUMPET, TROMBONE, BARITONE OR BELLS.

Instrument Pairing Dates will be scheduled for August 2021. At the pairing students will try the Beginner instruments to decide which instrument to play.
Please do not purchase instruments over the internet or from an individual before coming to an Instrument Preview Event for the following reasons.
1. Many instruments on line are very cheap/poorly made and do not play well or last long. I will let you know which instrument brands are reputable at the Preview.
2. Some kids have their heart set on a certain instrument, but when they come to the preview they either can’t get a sound on that instrument or they actually like another instrument better.
